A Night of Music, Mission, and Meaning at Peterson Park in Mattoon, IL
In 2021, Rural King and the RK Foundation for Rural America launched a bold idea: create a night of worship that gives back. What started as a vision has now become a beloved annual tradition—the Harvest of Hope Family Concert—uniting music lovers, faith communities, and change-makers for a powerful cause.
Now in its fourth year, the concert continues to grow in heart and reach, and we’re thrilled to announce that Harvest of Hope 2025 is set for Friday, September 13th at Peterson Park in Mattoon, IL. This year’s concert will feature headliner Jeremy Camp, with incredible performances by Big Daddy Weave and Jamie MacDonald—making it one of our most anticipated lineups yet.

Your Ticket = A Donation
Harvest of Hope isn’t just about the music—it’s about the mission. Every $30 ticket purchased includes an opportunity to donate 100% of the ticket cost to a Christian organization of your choosing. That’s right: you pick the nonprofit, and we give the money.
This unique giving model allows every attendee to turn a night of celebration into an act of generosity. Since the concert began, over $1 million has been donated through the RK Foundation to faith-based organizations in Rural King communities.
“In the past two years alone, this concert has given back over $150,000 to local organizations,” said Amy Shafer, Director of the RK Foundation. “Harvest of Hope is quite literally filled with a feeling of hope. From the moment the gates open, people are running to grab seats and join in worship—and what makes it even more special is that every attendee gets to give back to something that matters to them.”
Past Success, Lasting Impact
Each year, the concert has drawn sold-out crowds with nationally recognized Christian music acts such as Zach Williams, Crowder, We the Kingdom, and Anne Wilson. Beyond the performances, the atmosphere is something special—a family-friendly evening filled with faith, food, and fellowship.
Guests enjoy local food trucks, a custom firetruck root beer soda fountain, and unique concert merchandise—all while helping support the event through the RK Foundation. It’s not just a concert—it’s a full experience designed to uplift and inspire.

Location & Community Support
The event takes place at Peterson Park’s baseball diamond—a beautiful and spacious venue made possible through the support of the City of Mattoon Park Department. We’re especially grateful to Kurt Stretch and his hardworking crew for their dedication to making this event a reality year after year.
After you purchase your ticket, go to ruralking.com/hope, click “Enter Receipt Information,” and search for the Christian organization you’d like to support. Enter your ticket details, and your selected organization will receive the full donation in the weeks following the concert.
